NEW! in Hansa Financials Vn3.6-3.9

There are several new features in the latest versions, the main ones are Master Control, Print Preview, Paper Clip, Drag and Drop, Wildcard searches and user defined Navigation Links (buttons) on the user's Personal Desktop.

Master Control

The settings, exports, reports and documents have been moved into this new window to allow for extra registers to be added at the bottom. The Master Control stays with you through all the modules but it can be closed and reopened whenever you want. It also contains Calendar and To Do which are linked to the customer, prospect or supplier records and Mailbox and Conferences which are for emailing. In 3.9 there is a personal desktop where transactions or files can be dragged and dropped to provide an immediate access for tasks you are working on now or work on routinely.

Print Preview

By holding down the Shift key and clicking on the print icon whilst looking at, for example, an invoice, you'll see exactly what will be printed. Great for designing forms and for the trees!!

Paper Clip

The Paper Clip that has now appeared on the top right hand corner of all records in Hansa, has got the following function from the Special menu

This means that any record in Hansa Financials can have a file or notes attached and Hansa can also provide for full document management in the office.

Drag and Drop

Any record can be dragged from a register browse window and dropped onto the paper clip. For example, if you want to attach a transaction to a customer, bring up the transaction register and the customer record, highlight the transaction and drag it to the paper clip on the customer card. The paper clip will then be holding a red icon to show that the customer has an attached file.

Drill Downs

Most of the 300+ standard reports in Hansa have been converted to drill down from on screen reports to the underlying data.

Wildcard

If you are looking for a customer and you know that the name contains, for example, Business, in the search field on the customer browse window, type *Business and it will take you to the first record whose name contains Business.

There are also  new Modules, Cashier, EDI, Resource Planning and Limited Access.
